The Full Story

About

I first stepped into the world of special education during high school. That’s when a group of students affectionately began calling me “Sister” - a name that came from their trust and warmth,

and one I’ve carried with pride ever since.

Our journey began in Taiwan, where those early connections with special needs students shaped not just my path, but my purpose. Life with these students has become an inseparable part of me. I cherish every moment spent with them. Being on the front lines of education also made me wonder:

Is there a way we can do even more for these incredible children?

A few years ago, I discovered a love for baking. Even in the kitchen, my heart stayed with the kids. Slowly, an idea began to rise - something beyond labels like “charity” or “welfare.” Just a space. A space where baking, teaching, and participating could come together to show children that they are just as capable as anyone else.

The memory of my sister treating me to a slice of pie became both my inspiration and their beginning.

Every dessert I make carries the stories we’ve shared - stories that can be sung with warmth and tasted with joy.

To create a nurturing space where special needs individuals can learn, grow, and thrive through the art of baking - empowering them with real-life skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
